If you live here in Vallejo then you know that things are gradually getting worse. The city is bankrupt. There’s a rise in crime, dropout rates, foreclosures and unemployment. With all that aside this is home. I’ve been here my whole life. I’d like to get out but I’d also like to stay. I’m tired of this city but I also love this city.
Kia has upped their game lately. They got the right advertising company to promote their 2011 Sorento. I’m not a big fan of SUVs but they made theirs look really fun. The characters are all popular children’s toys or tv show characters.
I noticed the Redford Sock Monkey, and Muno the cyclops first. Among the other characters are: a teddy bear, a robot, & a hairy thing. The site gives bios on each character and it’s interesting to see how they came about.
Anyhow, they succeeded in making the car look fun. To elicit a feeling for an object is good advertising. Bravo. If anyone knows what studio is responsible for the new ads, please let me know. Thanks
Stuck in the rain with a door that wouldn’t fit in the car. Stranger lady comes along and offers to help. Thank you for the blessing, but “Thank you” isn’t always enough. Pay it forward.
Sorry, I’ve been on hiatus lately. I have 2 jobs now. Been really tired. I have to adjust the schedule. In the mean time.. enjoy my favoritest commercial in the whole world
This rain is uncool. Anyhow, I woke up early this morning. Saw that the new Corinne Bailey Rae album (The Sea) was released today. The release is earlier than scheduled. With the internet it’s hard to release an album in another country before another and hope that it doesn’t get pirated. I would have liked to have bought the actual cd but I settled for the itunes album. Well worth the $9.99. I think it’s better than her debut album, which was hard to top. Sophmore albums usually aren’t good as debut albums (look at Maroon 5 & more recently Leona Lewis). Get it & enjoy it.
Post script: sorry for the lack of real updates. Sorry for not having the process video completed for your viewing pleasure.
Well… I lost all my blog entries. The site has been down for the last 2 days. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can blame AT&T / Yahoo! for that. They cancelled all hosting plans that were made in their joint venture. I wasn’t the only victim. It’s been a hassle getting the site back up. All this domain buying and transferring. It’s tiring. I ended up switching to Godaddy. Cheap and reliable I suppose. Anyhow, I’ll work on getting things squared away next week.
